Delete your WalkReady account
You can delete your WalkReady account and all associated data in two ways. Both options will permanently remove your data within 30 days.
In the app
- 1. Open WalkReady
- 2. Tap the profile icon in the top right
- 3. Go to Settings
- 4. Scroll to the Account section
- 5. Tap Delete account
- 6. Confirm the deletion
You will be signed out immediately. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
By email
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email. Send a message to walkready@openroadapps.com with:
- • Subject line: Delete my WalkReady account
- • The email address associated with your WalkReady account
We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- • Your account and sign-in credentials
- • All walks synced to your account
- • Your profile (display name, avatar color)
- • Walking Buddies connections
- • Pairing codes you have generated
- • Earned milestones
- • Notification preferences and reminder settings
What is retained
- • Aggregate, anonymized statistics that cannot be linked back to you
- • Records required for legal or tax compliance (such as subscription receipts), retained as required by applicable law
Subscription cancellation
Your WalkReady Plus subscription, if active, is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. To stop billing, cancel your subscription through your store's subscription management before or after deleting your account.

- • Android: Play Store > Profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions
